SMALL BUSINESS : Small Business Loans : Credit Unions offer small business loans and possibly lower rates

Zuma Full Banner 4

Small businesses are asking for loans for a variety of growth options and some small business owners are looking at credit unions since larger institutions are keeping their lending to small businesses tight. Also, many credit unions are able to offer small business loans at a lower interest rate, so they may actually be a better option than traditional banks.

Credit unions are non-profit organizations so they only have their members to look out for rather than stockholders. This is beneficial to credit union members as well as small businesses, because credit unions are able to offer better loan rates, lower fees, and in some cases lower interest.

Small business owners who are in need of capital may want to look into joining a credit union to take advantage of their interest rates to keep those monthly payments to a minimum.

If you can obtained a business loan through a credit union then you are going to have less strain and stress in paying back the loan, which can benefit the growth and productivity of any small business.

Research your local credit unions and see what qualifications they have for joining and what they offer small business owners.
